| Introduction |
| St. Michael's site has been a
centre for Christian worship for over 900 years and most of the
present building is more than 400 years old. Today, St. Michael's
has an active ministry as the town centre church and is pleased to
be open every day to visitors and for those who are seeking peace
and tranquillity in this busy town. In addition to three Sunday services, prayer and worship is offered daily - times of regular services are given under Information About Services. There are a number of other activities which centre on the church and details of these are given under Church Activities. Contact names are displayed in church and in our monthly magazine, The Messenger. In all our activities we welcome newcomers and enquirers. |

 We are a mixed congregation with a variety of backgrounds, ages and outlooks, and are open to all, whatever you consider your stage of faith to be. Opening Hours The church is open from 8.30 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. every day. |
